Meta Planning Project’s Initial Phase Started.

Proceeding with CFlex Movement Planner’s (CMP) continuous evolution process, a real time train circulation planning solution, CFlex has started a research project aimed at qualifying CMP with a new level of computational intelligence by simultaneously using many algorithms in order to improve the final planning delivered to users.

In February 2014 the project’s initial phase activities were started, with an estimated duration of 9 months, when conceptualization was conducted. Based on the results obtained in the proof of concept essays, the following step will involve development with start of production forecasted to the end of 2015. The project as approved by FAPESP (Sao Paulo Research Foundation) comprises scholarship funds for involved researchers and equipment associated to the activities to be developed.
