CFlex confirms participation at the Joint Rail Conference 2015

CFlex sent an abstract of the article “META PLANNING APPROACH TO TRAIN SCHEDULING” to the Joint Rail Conference 2015, which will be held in San Jose, CA, United States, in March 2015. The abstract has been approved and soon the full version of the article will be sent.


This paper presents the results of the feasibility study of the Meta Planning Engine now in development by CFlex; it aims at the achievement of results of increasingly better planning, using simultaneously the computing power of multiple computers, where each one performs engines configured with different parameters, and finally choosing the best planning based on predefined metrics. This phase of the project was supported by the Foundation for Support to Research in the State of São Paulo-FAPESP.

The Conference is a collaborative effort of large co-sponsoring organizations and will be held in the city of San Jose, CA, in the United States, in March 2015.
