CFlex submits to Fapesp a request of support

Within the continuous evolution process of CFlex Movement Planner (CMP), the first phase of the Project “Planning Train Circulation Based on Meta-Planning” was developed in 2014. This Project aims at giving CMP one more level of computational intelligence through the simultaneous use of a set of planning engines that may take advantage of the characteristics of several planning algorithms and deliver an even better result to the end user.

The aim of the initial phase of the project was the conceptualization and feasibility study of the project with the construction of proofs of concept and the execution of several experiments.

FAPESP’s support includes resources for research grants for researchers involved and equipment associated with the activities developed.  The second phase of the project aims at constructing the product itself. This phase is scheduled to initiate in 2015.
